Getting started

Download the installer

Click the download link in your Gumroad receipt email to get Synapse_x.y.z_x64-setup.nsis.zip.

Extract and run

Unzip the archive and run the .exe installer. Windows SmartScreen may ask for confirmation: click "More info" then "Run anyway".

Set your vault passphrase

On first launch, Synapse creates an encrypted credential vault. Choose a strong passphrase; it is used to derive your encryption key.

Add your email account

Go to Settings → Accounts and sign in with Google, Microsoft, or enter your IMAP/SMTP credentials manually.

Enable local AI (optional)

Go to Settings → AI and click "Download Model (~2.5 GB)" to enable the on-device AI assistant. A Vulkan-capable GPU is required.
